Water distribution
Drinking water crisis is one of the most complex and widespread problems in the Gaza Strip, especially with the scarcity of water resources and the contamination of the available ones with very high quantities of nitrates, so water in Gaza is unfit for human consumption because of their negative impact on human health. Desalinated water from private desalination plants may be relatively expensive, especially due to the deteriorating of economic situation of Palestinian families in general.
Gaza Strip is one of the most crowded areas especially the refugee camps, that are considered the most affected area by water crisis.
So. the Palestinian Orphan Home Association seeks to implement a project to distribute potable water to the residents of the affected areas by providing citizens with water tanks for drinking water. The capacity of the tank is 500 liters, it is filled with water for free with free fresh water distribution for one year for the poor and the needy free of charge.
The idea of setting water plants under the supervision of the Palestinian Orphan Home Association, has emerged as a result of the suffering of citizens as a result of the lack of potable water. Some people have to purchase it from private desalination plants, which are often expensive. Others give up drinking contaminated water with nitrate and salinity High; which adversely affects their health.
