A project to provide fresh vegetables parcels for poor families in the Gaza Strip

Due to the difficult economic and social conditions experienced by the residents of the Gaza Strip, the days have brought with them difficulty for many to get the basic needs and needs of Palestinian families at a time when poor and needy families are unable to meet the basic needs of their families of the main needs such as food and drink, The need for people has increased, and the burden on charities has increased to help those poor families, so the Palestinian Orphan Home Association strives to implement the project to provide parcels of vegetables to poor families in order to meet the needs of poor and needy people. In which we hope that the beneficiary family will be able to secure its basic requirements of basic vegetables to receive a vegetable parcel every two weeks.

Thousands of poor families have become destitute, they suffer from hunger and the need and their inability to meet those needs is a concern for the head of the household and it psychologically affects all members of the family.

From time to time, the Palestinian Orphan Home Association carries out a project to distribute fresh vegetable parcels to poor and needy families. The parcels containing the basic needs of each family are distributed.

This project comes within the framework of the association’s plan to alleviate the suffering of poor families. Some families do not find any income. We hope that Allah Almighty to be  part of alleviating their sufferings and to let them feel our closeness to them. In order to alleviate their suffering and eliminate hunger, the Association spares no effort in providing all that it can to help those poor people, especially under the unjust siege that increased the numbers of the poor and the needy.

Through this project, work will be done to help as many needy and poor families as possible to enable them to obtain basic vegetables every two weeks. The contents of the parcel will be varied to include different types of vegetables. The project will be implemented in all governorates of the Gaza Strip To work on selecting the most needy and poor families. These families will be selected by the various branches of the association.
