Support Iftar in Gaza Ramadan 2025
Amidst the chaos of wars and the hum of aircraft, Gaza stands as a tragic symbol of human suffering beyond description. On a small, densely populated land, wars continue to inflict new wounds on a body already burdened with pain, under a blockade that tightens the grip on the simplest essentials of life. Here, time is not measured in hours, but by the endurance and hope it carries in the face of calamities.
The humanitarian situation in Gaza is not merely a local issue, but a reflection that shows the world a true test of justice and humanity. Its people live under the destruction that has affected homes, schools, and hospitals, while they struggle to obtain even their basic needs such as clean water, electricity, or medical treatment.
This project is not only aimed at telling the story but also at awakening consciences and motivating action towards changing a reality that can no longer be ignored. By highlighting aspects of this crisis and shedding light on the suffering of its people, we aim to amplify Gaza’s voice on the international stage, and call on the global community to take responsibility for a tragedy that should not continue.
The Gaza Strip suffers from a blockade and restrictions on all fronts, which has negatively impacted the social, economic, and psychological well-being of Palestinians, especially for marginalized and vulnerable groups like orphans.
All indicators confirm that Gaza is not currently on the brink of collapse, but has entered an extremely difficult phase, becoming a model for the largest prison in the world with no reconstruction, no crossings, and a lack of water, electricity, and employment.
One of the main justifications for presenting such a project:
- A clear increase in poverty rates among families.
- The exacerbation of the suffocating economic crisis experienced by needy families.
Since its establishment, the association has worked on a variety of social projects aimed at supporting and assisting poor and needy families, as well as orphans. Among the most notable of these Ramadan projects are food parcels, purchase vouchers, vegetable parcels, charity bread, and iftar meals. It is worth mentioning that these projects have a clear impact in serving the poor and needy, alleviating their suffering.
Through this project, contributions will be made to provide the basic Ramadan necessities for needy families. It is expected that tens of thousands of families in all governorates of the Gaza Strip will benefit from the project through the implementation of several projects, which include the following Ramadan initiatives:
- Iftar Project.
- Food Parcel Project.
- Zakat and Charitable Donations Project.
- Vouchers Project.
Project Objectives and Outputs:
- Contributing to securing basic necessities for poor and needy families during the month of Ramadan and alleviating their suffering.
Target Group and Selection Criteria:
- Poor and needy families.
- Orphaned families.
- Families of patients and the elderly.
Below is a detailed explanation of the projects that the Palestinian Orphan Care Society will implement during Ramadan 2025:
- First Project: Food Parcel Project
Ramadan food parcel project is one of the initiatives carried out by the Palestinian Orphan Home Association to alleviate the suffering of our people amidst the difficult economic conditions in the Gaza Strip. This project aims to meet the basic needs of poor, needy families, orphans, and other marginalized groups. The parcels will contain essential food items, and during this blessed month, the society will work on preparing and distributing 1,000 food parcels to bring joy to the hearts of the poor across all governorates of the Gaza Strip.
- Second Project: Iftar (Meal Project)
Iftar Project for poor families in Gaza involves providing an Iftar meal consisting of rice, chicken, yogurt, and a drink during the month of Ramadan. This initiative aims to meet the needs of needy families and alleviate their suffering in light of the difficult living conditions they face in the Gaza Strip.
- Third Project: Zakat and Charitable Donations
The Zakat and Charitable Donations project for Ramadan focuses on distributing cash amounts to poor families in Gaza so they can purchase their needs during the month of Ramadan. This initiative aims to alleviate the suffering of needy families in light of the difficult living conditions in the Gaza Strip.
- Fourth Project: Vouchers
The Voucher project for poor families in Gaza focuses on providing vouchers to needy families so they can purchase their essential needs and alleviate their suffering in light of the difficult living conditions in the Gaza Strip.
They need you to stand with them and provide them with food, drink, nylon and tents that have melted and become worn out during a year of war.
