Desalination Plants … Treatment and filtration of drinking water in the Gaza Strip

The Palestinian Orphan Home Association has implemented  several well drilling projects and installation of desalination plants to provide fresh drinking water,

In order to allivate  the difficulty of obtaining fresh water in the difficult economic conditions, and thus provide healthy water

And strictly in accordance with the specifications and standards adopted by the World Health Organization.

As a result of the three wars witnessed by the Gaza Strip and the suffocating siege of the general public which affected all areas of life. Water pollution has reached 95%, the number of wells damaged by the war was 800, The underground reservoir shortage is 150 million cubic meters,

In addition to the high rise in the salinity ratio in the groundwater, all of which made the competent authorities to dig new wells with greater depths to access to  drinking water and installation of desalination plants or the development of the current desalination plants and wells.

This is the reason for the idea of this project  , A desalination plant to provide fresh drinking water in the beloved Gaza Strip.
