The agricultural sector is considered one of the basic sectors in the Palestinian national economy, and one of the foundations of its steadfastness.

In light of the unjust siege imposed on the Gaza Strip and the need to control the need for food and fruit, it is necessary to rely on self-sufficiency in achieving food security. This is to achieve a state of food security and self-sufficiency in the products that can be produced locally, both from agricultural commodities. This is to include in the rehabilitation of greenhouses, which the Association always seeks to implementing these projects from rehabilitating greenhouses to benefit farmers, owners of nurseries, local community .

The project aims to rehabilitate lands and greenhouses and plant them with agricultural crops to provide agricultural products to the local community.

The preparation of the greenhouse includes (plowing and settling the land – covering the greenhouse with nylon – preparing of the irrigation networks) and then planting greenhouses in the seedlings and fertilizing them and spraying them with insecticides and then marketing the products.

This project is one of the projects with a high potential for continuity. As a result of the profits of the project, the area that is rehabilitated and cultivated will be expanded, thus increasing the quantity supplied to the local market of agricultural products, increasing employment opportunities and increasing the income of the association. These agricultural products can also be used to provide pacels to needy families. The expansion of this project contributes positively to the development of the economy in the Gaza Strip.
