Qurbani Project
Qurbani project is one of the seasonal projects carried out by the Palestinian Orphan Home Association, in an attempt to ease the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people, as many needy people eat meat only in the season of Qurbani.
In the previous years, this project has achieved success with the blessing and guidance of Allah and generous support from charities locally and internationally.
The association distributes meat to poor and needy families in all areas of the Gaza Strip, where calves and sheep are purchased according to the required specifications and which are determined by a technical committee. This project is fully arranged by the management of the association and the workers in the projects department and the different branches in all areas of the Gaza Strip.
The sacrifice is done during the second, third and fourth days of Eid al-Adha, the staff of the association works day and night to deliver the meat to the poor and needy families the poor in the Gaza Strip. It is worth mentioning that each family gets from one to two kilos of meat, depending on the number of family members.
It is worth mentioning that dozens of institutions are always seeking to support this project. These institutions are supported by dozens of charitable organizations in the Arab and Islamic world.
